background
They make their way to the edge of a cliff that overlooks an ocean below. They also spot some Galbadian vessels docked at the bottom. Tired and breathless from running away, Laguna gathered up some energy and tossed Kiros and Ward down below. Always the goofy man, Laguna shouted down to them, "You guys...sure have guts. You know how high this cliff is...!?". By throwing his friends down first, it allowed him to survey the drop. Laguna tried to carefully pace himself down the cliff, but quickly fell off. When Laguna fell, he washed away and got separated from Kiros and Ward.
Laguna's body swept onto the shores of a small town, Winhill. When his body was carried back into town, Raine nursed him back to health. Laguna was bed-ridden for six months and was able to make a full recovery. Thankful for the kindness of the town and Raine for saving his life, instead of leaving Winhill, Laguna decided to stay and help patrol the town from the monsters that made their way in. He gave himself the self-proclaim title, "Monster hunter of Winhill". Laguna chose to live in Winhill for many more months until Ellone was kidnapped by Estharian soldiers.
